7. INSTALLATION METHODOLOGY:
❖ Take extreme care to stay refrigerant tubing/piping clean and dry before installation the subsequent procedures ought to be
❖ Check approval of operating drawings
❖ Check size and route of piping for parturition refrigerant pipe as per approved United Nations agency drawing..
❖ Install the supports for pipe and check the amount.
❖ Clean totally the outer face of pipe and inner face of pipes and fittings by processing air or brushing. before copper joint brazing all cuts pipe ends and significantly those now upstream of devices ought to be fully de-burred and any distortion in bore diameter shall be corrected
❖ Flush the whole pipe system with gas gas at a hundred and fifty – two hundred psig to get rid of all dust within the pipe
❖ Carry out the pressure check by exploitation gas gas at 250psi and for ten Minutes. for check the outpouring and soap answer are going to be applied just in case of leak.
❖ Record the reading within the pressure check report.
❖ Provide pipe insulation and facing for external refrigeration pipe with the desired insulation material.
❖ Vacuum the system to zero psi to -14.5 psi (-76 cmHG) and this method continue around ten to twenty minutes.
❖ Break the vacuum exploitation Refrigerant R-410a up to its standing pressure to Zero (Operation Pressure).
❖ Charge the system with refrigerant up to its standing pressure (operating pressure).
❖ System is prepared for start-up, commission and record the information.
❖ Use solely refrigeration grade copper tube, properly sealed against contamination. .
❖ Suitable P-type oil traps ought to be placed at the bottom of every suction riser.
❖ No lure ought to be placed directly previous the mechanical device. this can be to forestall slugging of the mechanical device with oil or liquid refrigerant unfree there.
❖ Suction lines should be insulated with closed cell elastomeric thermal insulation to forestall condensation. Liquid lines need no insulation unless they run through extreme temperature areas
❖ Always confer with the involved engineer for a lot of elaborated piping technique in step with web site applications.

❖ Lines ought to ne'er be left loose or unsupported
❖ All Refrigerant line shall be purged with seven Kpa gauge (1.0 psig) dry gas whereas fastening, brazing or attachment connections
❖ Refrigerant piping and tube shall be firmly mounted to a permanent support at intervals half dozen feet (1.8m) following the primary bend in such tube from the mechanical device and at intervals two feet (610mm) of every ulterior bend or angle.
❖ Refrigerant piping shall not be placed at intervals a needed exit
❖ The direction of flow and sort of line shall be indicated on refrigerant piping.
❖ The expertise level of the erectors.
