1.1 DESCRIPTION of labor


A. The demolition work includes disassembly and removal of existing structures, foundations, manholes, underground utilities, roads and evacuation structures, PRN for installation of recent facilities, in accordance with contract drawings.


1.2 SUBMITTALS


A. The procedures planned for the accomplishment of demolition and removal work shall be submitted to the Owner for approval before work is started.  The procedures shall give for careful removal and coordination with different add progress, and disconnection schedule of utility services.  The procedures shall embrace a close description of the ways and instrumentality to be used for every operation and therefore the sequence of operations.


B. Contractor shall not begin any demolition work till procedures authorizing such work, are approved by the Owner, in writing.

PART three - EXECUTION



3.1 EXISTING FACILITIES TO BE REMOVED


  A. Structures and Walls:  Existing structures indicated shall be removed to the extent indicated.


  B. Utilities:


1. Utility Services:  Disconnect utility services with connected meters and instrumentality, as necessary to demolish existing services to be removed and as necessary to put in and connect utility service extension.  Cap utility at purpose of removal.


2. Removal of Utilities: take away existing utilities to the extent indicated and terminate during a manner and at a time satisfactory to the Owner.  If affected, meters and connected instrumentality shall be removed and hold on for use in accordance with directions from the Owner. If utility lines ar encountered that aren't indicated on the drawings, acquire Owner direction within the disposition of such services.


  C. Roofing: wherever removal of roofing is needed to result the connections with new flashing, take away existing materials on straight lines. take away roofing (and insulation) while not damaging substrates.

3.3 CLEANUP


  A. junk and Rubbish Control: junk and rubbish shall be removed and transported during a manner which will forestall spillage on streets or adjacent areas.
